Melbourne City Powerchair announce departure of Rebecca Evans and Adem Shen. We would like to announce the departures of Rebecca Evans and Adem Shen from Melbourne City Powerchair Team as they embark on new journeys with the competitions newest team, Westvale Olympic.
Rebecca Evans, has been a vital part of our team since joining last season. Throughout the VPL season she contributed 9 goals and a competition high 18 assists across 15 matches. These contributions guided Melbourne City to top of the table where they claimed the Premiership. At the 2023 Club Championships, Rebecca had another strong campaign, scoring 4 goals and 7 assists, helping the team to their grand final appearance. Her incredible contributions to the team, both on and off the field, have been invaluable.
Adem Shen has also been an essential member of our development team, known for his dribbling and power. Adem's efforts have significantly contributed to our success and development as a team.
